The Initiative

Can Your Small Technology Business Benefit from GMCI?

  • Is your company a small, minority or women-owned technology business?
  • Does your company need technical or business resources to grow?
  • Is your company already collaborating with or interested in partnering with NASA, to accelerate the development of your products or processes?
  • Would your company benefit from Federal funding to support the prototype development or test and evaluation of your technology?

If the answer is “yes” to any of the questions above, then your company may benefit from our technology transfer and commercialization program. Managed by Battelle in support of the NASA Glenn Research Center, the program is called the NASA Glenn Garrett Morgan Commercialization Initiative (GMCI).

What is GMCI?

GMCI delivers technical and business services. Our services are customized to bridge the gap that small, technology-oriented companies experience when developing inventions from research into technology products/services for government or non-government markets. GMCI's goal is to empower more companies to fully compete in the marketplace. We foster economic development, business growth, and economic inclusion in the areas that we serve by accelerating the technology development conducted by small, minority and women-owned businesses.
